5 Biggest Mistakes that Your Wedding Guests will make
It is your biggest event of your lifetime. Just by the sheer amount of money you and your other half spent is enough to make anyone's eyes bulge. After the time, effort and not to mention some painful tears, you want this day to be as perfect as possbile.
We have listed some of the mistakes that your wedding guests will make, some mistakes are preventable while some... let's say you will need to learn to look the other way or take it in your stride and laugh it off.
Who knows it might make your wedding much more memorable?
Mistake 1Some of your guests will forget to RSVP, making it difficult for you to pin down the exact number for dinner seatings. Or worse, they brought along a plus one and a plus plus one. This can mess up your sitting arrangements as well.Tip 1: Most vendors will allocate an additional 10 to 20 guests for such scenario. Do check with them how will they charge for unutilized seats. Tip 2: Check withthe previous bride who has invited the same people as guests. She might throw some light who likes to come with a family in tow or who is always forgetting to RSVP.
Mistake 2:Using their mobile phones to take videos and photographs is one of the biggest irk of our brides. Instead of enjoying your walk down the aisle, you may find that you are swarmed by good will friends, all trying to snap a picture of you.. using flash!
Tip 1: Before the start of the ceremony, gently ask someone in charge (perhaps the maid of honor or even the groom himself) to remind everyone that you hire a photograher and a videograher for the sole purpose for their memory keeping, and will send everyone copies of the wedding.
Mistake 3: This has something to do with the mobile phones as well. The evil of technology has made us unable to put down our phones. You may find someone's Rock N' Roll ringtone blasting through the halls of your church. Tip 1: Same thing goes. Have someone in charge to gently remind everyone to turn their mobile into vibration mode.
Mistake 4: Someone in the crowd is wearing a white dress! Shocking! It is usually the common courtesy to avoid the color that the bride will be wearing. Tip 1: Grit your teeth and bear with it. No one should outshine you on the very day you pledge your love forever. Tell yourself that it is not worth it, letting an absentminded guest who wore white to spoil your day.
Mistake 5: Uncle David is drunk even before the ceremony starts and he is wavering from side to side before passing out on the bridal table.Tip 1: Take note of all the guests that are heavy drinkers, have the bar to hold their liquor before the ceremony starts, even assigning a cousin to watch out for Uncle David might save you and your family further embrassment.
