The third option we chose is another classic: Blush and gold. This is special to me because not only was this one of my favorite setups back in my styling days with K by Cunanan, but this is also the theme of my best friend's wedding.
The blush pink is very subtle, so it still falls on the classic category, but the gold adds a little oomph that makes it more modern.
My fiancé likes this as well, even though he says it's a little too girly for him. The downside to this, if you're going for a bridal blog feature, is this has already been blogged about.
I also do not want my bestfriend to think i copied her entire wedding since i'm getting almost all of the her suppliers as well (i helped her plan her wedding). Lol.
Everything on her wedding is perfect, so i plan to share with you our third mood board, my best friend's wedding: BLUSH and GOLD.

The invites was hand painted by her friend supplier, using water color. It's nice because it's definitely unique. Still, it's simplicity is charming and elegant

Her bridesmaids (including me, left side of the bride) wore very subtle blush pink gowns from a local couturier. She personally chose and bought the fabric herself so she only had to pay for the service. Great way to stretch your budget!

Her cake is a four layer blush tone cake with ruffle details at the bottom. Since she wanted peonies for her flowers but was too expensive to export, she had her cake supplier make peonies for the flower details. And of course just a touch of gold details. Don't you just think it looks perfect?

As for the centerpieces, she used old rose linen with a god sequin runner, blush pink and white roses, snapdragons and million stars. I should know since i helped style the centerpieces. :) simple and classic!

The last color theme i had in mind is my personal favorite color, Purple. Shades of purple to lilac looks so pretty when arranged nicely. You can do ombre style or just mix them all together. Add a few blush pinks and it will all go well together. Here are some sample works i have done.

So here it is, our mood board for the 4th color we are choosing from: PURPLE.

For the invite, we wanted something simple. Either an ombre style, water color invite or striped clean design of different shades

The bridesmaids will be wearing different shades of purple to lilac, with different designs. Simple but with sheer fabric outside.

The bridal cake will be 3 layers and color will be ombre as well.

Groomsmen will be wearing either purple necktie or bowtie with a purple or lilac boutonnière. I don't want it to be too matchy matchy.

My bouquet will be different hues of lilac and purple. A mixture of hyacinth, hydrangeas and lisanthiums would be perfect!

As for the table centerpieces, this is where my ideas are all colliding. I want different shades of purple but the block dark purple looks absolutely amazing as well. Very classy with the chandeliers as centerpieces. So i'm still in limbo with these. What do you think?

Hi Casey! I’ve been talking to Ellen about my questions. She said she will turn over the account once we already book K. Too bad we weren’t able to make the cut to their last batch of food tasting this December. We are just waiting for the next schedule on January as she will also discuss our other concerns in their office. Hizon’s already gave us irresistible offers so we are looking forward to our meeting with K. We do like the styling of K, as for the food, the couple tried it once but it was few years back so they want to try it again and just really make the most out of their budget.

I love your works and they are beautiful to the eyes. I love the table dressing,purple can't just stop amazing me. The decoration is very OK. Actually I'm going for something like this,but if I may ask,adding purple fruits in a pink basket made of net,how does it sound. Please tell me before my thoughts drives me crazy.
