Alleppey Day Backwater Tour by Shikara| Duration of Tour: 6 – 7 hours| Climate; 25 to 28 dg C during Day price is for 2 person (applicable for guaranteed two pax traveling together) in case of one pax travelling USD 90 will be charged. Alleppey/Alappuzha known as Venice of the East. It is located in district of Kerala state of southern India. The Backwaters of Alappuzha are the most popular tourist attraction in Kerala. A cruise in these backwaters is a delightful experience. Alleppey Backwaters offer you the tranquility, fringe palm, Coconut Lagoon and continuous attractiveness of narrow canals, small houses. This all can be enjoyed in Shikara boat which is motorized and smaller than a Houseboat with its roof covered. Shikara Canoe Boat having all side open which allow cool breeze from the lake to refresh you. It has seating capacity from 1 to 12 guests. With Shikara you can cruise in remote backwaters areas which are not accessible by huge boats/ships. Enjoy 7 hours programme which includes cruise at backwaters, traditional villages, paddy fields, tranquility between palms and lagoons, small houses on the bank of lake through Shikara Boat and Lunch Organized at Restaurant near to lake. This trip can be started from early morning 6am onwards till evening; you may select time as per your preference and trip will be customised. Early morning you can enjoy sunrise, chirping sound of birds, lapping sound of lake water with cool breeze and so on.
