DAY 01: ARRIVAL HUE (-/-/-)
You will land at Phu Bai International Airport. You will be welcomed by tour guide and car driver at the airport and then check in Hue hotel
In the evening, you are free time in the evening or free enjoy Royal traditional music on Perfume River by boat.
DAY 02: HUE CITY TOUR (B/L/-)
After have breakfast, car driver and guide pick you up at your hotel and transfer to the boat station.
The dragon boat will run along the Perfume River for you to sight the view in the morning. The boat landed to visit Thien Mu pagoda, it features a seven tiers, each of which dedicated to a human form taken by the Buddha.
Continue to visit another famous places in Hue city tour by car, you visit the Imperial Citadel - where UNESCO acknowledged the Complex of Monuments of Hue is the World Cultural Heritage in 1993, inside the citadel is the Imperial city, the Forbidden City…. And visit the Royal Antiques Museum.
Enjoy the lunch at local restaurant with Hue specialty cakes: “Beo” cake, “Nam cake”, “Khoai” cake, “Nem lui”… and relax 20 minutes.
Afternoon, continue to visit the Emperors Tomb such as Khai Dinh tomb - the architecture mixed by Hinduism, Buddhism, Roman and Minh Mang tomb also called Hieu tomb - this is one of the most beautiful tomb in Hue.
Then, you will continue the tour by exploring conical hat village, you can see and learn how the locals make the conical hat. Observe how locals make sandalwood and cinnamon incense in Incense stick making village
Return your hotel, free time in the evening at overnight at your hotel
DAY 03: HUE - DMZ - HUE (B/L/-)
After have breakfast, you depart from your hotel in Hue to Quang Tri. You visit Rock Pile Hill, one of the US military base, was used as a watchtower to observe the activities of the Vietnam People’s Army in the demilitarized zone in Quang Tri Province from 1966 to 1968.
Then you stop to visit Dakrong bridge. Dakrong Bridge is midway along Highway 9, and is the starting point of Highway 15, one of the main branches of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, which leads south to the A Shau valley and the infamous “Hamburger Hill”. Though not entirely legitimate, there is a monument commemorating it as a point on the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Continue the trip to visit Khe Sanh combat base, a large Marine base camp attacked by a massive forces of the North Vietnamese Army in early 1968.
You have lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Ha town.
Then you visit Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River, the river that was the only true demarcation line between the North and South of Vietnam after the Geneva agreement and Vinh Moc Tunnel - where is famous as an underground village constructed to avoid bombardments during the American War.
You come back Hue city, you can relax in the hotel or explore Hue nightlife by cyclo or enjoy Hue specialties.
DAY 04: HUE - HA NOI (B/-/-)
After have breakfast, car driver will pick up in your hotel go to Phu Bai Airport, depart from Hue to Ha Noi.
You are free have lunch and take a short time to relax.
Afternoon Hanoi tour starts visiting the Temple of Literature (or you might choose one of the museums in Hanoi – Hilton Hanoi, Military museum, Museum of History, Ethnology museum..), then move to the West Lake and pay a visit to the oldest pagoda Tran Quoc. Continue drive to Hoan Kiem Lake and the French Quarter, visit Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge and Ma May ancient house. A Green Car tour around the Old Quarter to experience the exciting local daily life of Hanoians. Tour ends after a cup of coffee or tea at an authentic Hanoi corner cafe where you can have talks with local people, exchange cultural way of life
After come back to Ha Noi and have dinner in restaurant. You can relax in your hotel or walk around the Hoan Kiem Lake.
DAY 05: SAPA - HAM RONG (B/L/D)
Our car and tourguide will pick you up in the hotel, depart from Ha Noi to Lao Cai.
Arrive in Sapa, check in hotel, have lunch.
You will begin the trek up Ham Rong Mountain. There are several well tended flower gardens along the way. Going through two Heaven Gates, you will get the top of Ham Rong Mountain. Up here, you will have a sensational specticular view of the Hoang Lien Son Mountains, including Vietnam’s highest peak Mount Fanxipan. This is an enjoyable outing, but it’s not the north face of Everest so you will go down in time for dinner.
After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Overnight at hotel in Sapa. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market which is one of unique cultures of ethnic minorities HMong, Dazo in Lao Cai in particular and North West of Vietnam in general.
DAY 06: CAT CAT - HA NOI (B/L/-)
After breakfast, you will start trekking to Cat Cat Village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Coming here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century. After that, you will go back to hotel to check out and be on time for lunch.Then you free time to explore Sapa town or go shopping at Sapa Market.
It‘s time to say “Good bye Sa Pa!” and drive back to Hanoi.
After check in the Ha Noi hotel for overnight stay, you free have dinner and relax in the hotel.
DAY 07: HA NOI - HA LONG - HA NOI (B/L/-)
The bus and tour guide will pick up in your hotel, leave Ha Noi for Ha Long bay. Stop on the way to take a short break ( 20 minutes) for refreshments and shopping.
You will be picked up at your hotel and then driven to Ha Long Bay. You’ll have a short break on the half way before arriving Halong tourist wharf. You will board a private boat and cruise through the most beautiful place of the bay with the famous islets such as Cock Fighting - the islet is situated on the south - west side of Ha Long Bay, about 6 km from the tourist wharf near to Ðinh Huong Islet.
In a somewhat huge expanse of the ocean, the island seems to grow up from the bottom of the deep emerald waters. Dinh Huong Islet comprises only one huge stone. When the tide is low, tourists can see its four pins underneath. The islet is in the shape of an incense burner in the middle of the sea. In the majestic setting of sea and islands, Dinh Huong Islet seems like a holy symbol dedicated to national heroes who died to protect the country.
You will also visit Thien Cung Cave and Dau Go Cave. A visit to Thien Cung starts from the crowded dock area where wooden walkways lead to steep stairs going up to the mouth of the cave - just a short walk. The interior is a cavernous space, with hokey circus lighting, lots of big rock formations, and the usual interpretive names.
Taking around 30 - 45 minutes kayaking around the islands and water tunnels to feel more deeply the charm of the place that considered the heaven on earth.
You will return to Halong tourist wharf and take the bus back to Hanoi.
Free time in the evening and overnight at your hotel.
DAY 08: HA NOI - NINH BINH - HA NOI (B/L/-)
After have breakfast in hotel, you go to Ninh Binh province.
After arriving in Ninh Binh province, the guide takes you to visit Hoa Lu - the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. We will visit Dinh king temple and Le king temple. In the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of this two Kings in Chinese Wars. After that, we go to Tam Coc.
You will have lunch at a nice restaurant before boarding a small boat to visit Tam Coc, meaning literally, “Three Caves”. With Ha Long type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves, as well as countryside sights, like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. Then, cycle for an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops in Tam Coc - Bich Dong. Then, you come back to Ha Noi.
Free for passengers to do whatever they want at their own expense till the time for transferring to Noi Bai International Airport where your tour ends.
