More Real Life Tips on How to Survive Wedding Planning
Nothing and no one is more beautiful than the bride on her wedding day but how do you keep the stress out of your face and glow like a beautiful princess? Our readers could not get enough of our first article and here are some more of the real life tips on how these brides survive their big day planning.
Tip: Have Your Make Up Artist with you the whole event “We wanted to save as much money as possible with a new house and a new baby on the way. I shouldn’t really ask my make up artist to come for an hour. I thought I could have my sisters helping me with freshening my make up when it runs during the day. Big mistake! I cried so much that my make up had to be redone in just 4 hours into the ceremony. Those waterworks couldn’t stop! Luckily, a distant relative of his happens to be a make up artist and manage to salvage the day. Otherwise, I might have to go make up free for the rest of the night.” Sienna, 30 years old, married July 2015.
Tip: Be Realistic “We wanted a huge dream wedding. I wanted flown in flowers and bespoken designer gowns. He wanted flown in chef and exotic honeymoon. Little did we realised that we not only were way out of budget, we are in debt after the wedding. We had to stall our plans for the new house and moved in with my parents while we get our finances sorted out. A dumb mistake on our part.” Tiffany, 24 years old, married in December 2015.
