I started falling in love with photography at the age of sixteen. It all started with a most glamorous photo session of my twelve-year-old sister in the backyard, next to a Crape Myrtle tree. Her light blue eyes and curly blonde hair were like magic to my lens, and I started to dream about different poses in scenic locations.
Of course, I then began photographing everything in sight. After graduating high school, I attended the University of Central Oklahoma and majored in Photographic Arts. Throughout the program, we shot essentially every possible subject - scenery, food, items, fashion - you name it.
However, no matter what we were assigned to capture over those four years, I consistently had my heart set on people. After graduating from UCO, I began building my photography business part-time. For two years, I slowly and steadily worked with numerous clients, obtained more professional gear, and got as much experience as possible. Then, for the first time in May of 2014, I began my dream of full-time photography!
Now living in beautiful Stillwater, and after shooting over 50 weddings, I only continue to grow in my love for the art!
