What does Four Unplugged sound like? Kind of like a gumbo – a little of this, a little of that all mixed together with some spice and some heat – an old favorite recipe with some new twists that keeps ‘em coming back for seconds every time. Contrary to how the name may sound, the group is a six-piece party band featuring excellent musicians who are all seasoned professionals.

What we throw in the pot: Ingredients that appeal to a wide variety of ages and tastes – old rock ‘n roll classics, funk, Motown, dance party favorites, sing-alongs, hits from today and the always delicious slow-dance staples. We even mix in some hanky-wavin’ Mardi Gras tunes to get our audience all stirred up and on the dance floor.

Where we dish it out: Wherever folks are hungry for a good party! We've performed in every imaginable setting from backyards to concert halls. Highlights include a variety of festivals and fairs, Mardi Gras balls and parties, Saints’ functions, and private celebrations at such venues as the Superdome, Mardi Gras World, House of Blues, The Morial Convention Center, FloraBama, numerous French Quarter hotels and reception halls, the Castine Center, the Gulf Coast Coliseum, and many other great locations. We’ve even brought our local flavor to our nation’s capitol for the 2012 Krewe of Louisianian’s Mardi Gras Ball in Washington D.C. for over 2000 dignitaries and guests!

Prize winning recipe: Along with the great feedback we get from folks who’ve had a taste of us, we've also gotten some blue ribbon honors. We’ve been voted best cover band for seven years by the readers of Sophisticated Woman Magazine from our home base on the Northshore of New Orleans.

Our secret ingredient: Well, it’s not really a secret. Those who’ve experienced us know we savor the opportunity to make any event a feast of a good time. We take the art of having fun very seriously and serve up our experience, professionalism and most importantly, our quality sound.
