Rick… I have been drawn to photography for as long as I can remember. It started I guess as a kid when we drove up Pacific Coast Hwy 1 as a family and my dad hung pictures of that amazing scenery all over our house. I got my first camera a few years later, a Canon Rebel and that was it, I was hooked. I played the guitar for 15 years, taught it for 4 and have seen Star Wars more times than I can think of. I can probably recite entire scenes word for word. I didn’t start drinking coffee until about 27 but now visit Starbucks daily…

Melanie… My love for photography began with my father taking pictures of our family. Not necessarily waiting for him to get the shot as he imagined it (we were impatient little girls) but the amazing ability to go back to those moments and emotions in an instant with a photograph. Now some of my favorite family time is belly laughing together when my dad breaks out the projector… I also love cooking, eating, friends, family and a good glass of wine. I am elated when they all come together:). I’m thrilled that I get to share my passion with my best friend and love, my partner in everything.
