Bartender acoustic musical trio
Bartender acoustic musical trio
Bartender is an acoustic trio formed in 2006 by Gabriele “Svedonio” Tardiolo, David Tordi and Valerio Bellocchio. Six hands, three instruments and three voices with a full band sound: this is the challenge that brought the band to create a unique and vibrant sound, as well as a diversified and finely arranged repertoire.
The Bartender live experience is a musical journey that includes original songs, Italian and Mediterranean tunes, Django Reinhardt and swing music, Robert Johnson and the blues world, the Beatles and Ennio Morricone. Each song is rearranged with a distinct and recognizable style that evokes passion in the audience.
The primary element of the band’s research and of “bartendersound” is the approach to each song focusing on rhythm and harmony. The mix of guitars (and a variety of string instruments such as lap steel, banjo, bouzuki, and mandolin) replaces the lack of a traditional rhythmic section (bass and drums) and provides a direct and understandable music language to the audience. Each of Bartender’s shows are entertaining and always interactive with the crowd.
Over the years Bartender has achieved many goals, such as collaborating with important artists (like Jason Mraz, Rancore & DjMyke), playing many live festival concerts and events throughout Italy and abroad, TV appearances on Rai channels (Sereno Variabile), Sky (Sanremo Doc), HGTV (House Hunters International on American network).
