The Steeves House Museum is available for semi-private rental for photography in an historic setting, for a flat fee Set in the historic birthplace of the Honourable William Henry Steeves, the Steeves House Museum is a charming Colonial mansion filled with light from massive windows. The original cottage was finished in 1812, and William Henry Steeves was born here in 1814 as the oldest of eleven children. He became a Father of Confederation and, later, Senator Steeves. The larger house was added circa 1840 when the economy of the Village expanded. The house is now comprised of 6000 sq. ft of period rooms and antique furnishings.​ ​ Photographs can be taken in any of the mansion’s thirteen furnished rooms, as well as in the historic Saint Mary's Anglican Church nearby, and outdoors on our spacious lawns under shade trees. Let's start at the beginning whith a creative, two location engagement session. You will start to feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera and ready for your big day. Then on your wedding day I am there to capture it all: pampering while getting hair done, that first look as you walk down tha aisle, your special vows. After the ceremony I will direct you and your Family, and the wedding party for portraits. Then we sneak off - you and your beloved and I - for your own romantic and intimate portrait session. Finish it off with a great meal, more tears and laughter, some cakes and some dance. You receive A photo CD of your engagement session with 40 high resolution, edited images and a custom 20 page engagement album.
