A 2 hour drive we will get us to the Miravalles Volcano where our horses will be waiting so we can do a horseback ride to a trail that will take us through the rainforest to look for wildlife.
Along the way we will pass by a total of 5 waterfalls. At one of them you get the chance to swim in it. This trail has duration of around 45 minutes and then 30 minutes back on the horses where our van will take us to a very delicious Costa Rican lunch called a “Casado”.
After lunch we will get to do a Crater walk. You might wonder what this is. Right there we will be walking on one of the 7 different craters that this awesome volcano has to offer. Is around a 30 minute hike looking for boiling waters of different temperatures, different types of minerals, smells, and volcanic mud.
All this will end at a natural pool of volcanic mud, where once you get into your swimming suit you will be able to lather it on your body and face. This volcanic mud is known for its medicinal properties on it and will help your skin rejuvenate!
Once the mud is rinsed off you can relax in the natural hot springs at the end of the day before we head back home.
Includes: Ground transportation to and from, bilingual guise, horseback riding, lunch, entrance to the park with the hot springs and lunch.
